~~ GM To Make Flex Fuel Hummer - You Betcha!
Gm has finally realized the need for alternative fueled vehicles if they want to compete in this new found global marketplace.
At the LA Auto Show Rick Wagoner - GM CEO announced: . . . . .
General Motors Corp. is positioning itself as the most aggressive.
At a news conference this week, CEO Rick Wagoner announced plans, but no timetable, for what he says will be the nation’s first plug-in hybrid that drivers could fill up with both gas and with electricity from a standard outlet. The two-mode system would significantly increase fuel efficiency, promising up to 70 mpg on the highway.
GM also showed off its forthcoming Saturn Vue hybrid sport-utility vehicle and said it was working on a version of its big Hummer that can run on biofuels derived from plants.
Could this be what GM needs to gain backs it’s # 1 Auto Maker Status?
